We all have experiences with people who exhibit behaviors that are obnoxious, rude, annoying and downright cruel. We may regard these people as unlovable and unloving. We wrestle with how to love them and treat them well. These people sharpen our skills and show us how to Love unconditionally. We have to allow them to change us. This is want we have in our control. We cannot change others, but ourselves. So, through them, we set intentions not only to bless them but allow them to change us. Allow them to help us strengthen and embody our Practice of Love. It is not easy, but the benefits are enduring.

Whether it's the unfair boss, deceitful friend, unhappy customer, or the bully who uses threat tactics as attempts to stifle and control you, it is hard to love these perceived unlovable people. I have learned to not take it personal, not to take it to heart. It's their stuff being projected to you. I bless them with hope that they may eventually see the light and move beyond their own misery. Use these opportunities to grow in Love.

Think about a person in your life who is annoying. You already know how this person typically makes you feel. Change your approach. Know that we are Divine Sparks of Love that become overshadowed with fear, trauma and life experiences. As you interact with this person, practice loving-kindness. How does this make you feel? Abide in Love... Triumph in the Spirit of Love!
