Sincerity is an Ingredient of LOVE
Integrity is about being honest and operating with moral principles. Use every opportunity to do what is right and good. It is always a pay off and bodes well for your life.
"Rejoiceth not in unrighteousness, but rejoiceth with the truth. It includes self-restraint which refuses to make capital out of others' faults; the charity which delights not in exposing the weakness of others. The sincerity of purpose which endeavors to see things as they are, and rejoices to find them better." -Henry Drummond
In a recent zoom call with my Alpha Kappa Alpha (AKA) sorority college line sisters to discuss a college scholarship fund and other activities, one of my beloved sorority sistems whom I encountered years ago while running errands, shared a positive statement that I made during our conversation that she never forgot and shared it on the call. Other encounters include students whom I taught in my masters rehabilitation counseling classes and clients whom I served as a rehabilitation counselor practitioner who were transitioning from prison to the community, frequently approach me in the commjunity and share something learned that resonated with them through the years. I, too, pay homage to those masters, soulful teachers and friends who enriched my life with powerful conversations that helped me during difficult times and throughout my life.. We don't realize how we make an impact and influence the lives of others. Whether positive or potentially negative encounters with others in your daily life, them leave better off.
Be the Standard Bear for LOVE.
What does Sincerity really mean to you? What does it look like when you and someone is sincere? How does make you feel when you are being sincere? What does doing the right thing mean to you? What interactions have you had that changed your life Journal about this for more self-introspection and self-reflection. Move away from revenge, gossip, competition, manipulation and other negative behaviors. Be consciously aware of your interaction with others. Chart your progress and keep up the good work. Not only are they better off, but you are as well.
